I don’t think i’ve ever posted a post about what my favourite and least favourite reads of a year have been, and i don’t know why. I read and watch so many bloggers talk about what they loved and hated about the previous years reading, and i figured this year i want to look back on what i’ve read, what i loved and what i didn’t.Continue reading “My Best & Worst Reads of 2020”
I wanted 2018 to be a great reading and blogging year for me. I’m happy to report that i managed to actually keep up with both of those things. I’m really pleased with what i have achieved blog-wise this year, and also i’ve managed to keep up my reading challenge and i’ve actually read the most books i’ve ever read in a year in 2018.
2017 finished over two weeks ago now, and that means it’s time to wrap up what i read in 2017. Without a doubt 2017 has been my most successful reading year to date. I’ve read the most books i’ve ever read in a year and also found some absolutely incredible ones that have stayed with me throughout those twelve months (a post on this to follow).
The end of the year is fast approaching and that gives me time to think about all the books that i’ve read (or not read) in 2017. I’m with everyone else in the wondering where the year has gone this time. However, i’m more than excited to leave this years reading behind and start a whole new year of reading.
I personally had my best reading year to date in 2015. I’ve said numerous times that I’m not a especially fast reader, so there are many times (aka Uni) where my reading dips because I just don’t have the time to read. However, in 2015 I managed to read a total of 40 books, 4 graphic novels and 4 short stories. This is the most I’ve ever read in a year before and the bulk of it happened over summer when I had plenty of free time.
