Before YALC (ages ago, I know), I wrote a post about being in a bit of a reading slump, mainly a YA reading slump but I wasn’t feeling anything much really. Since YALC, I’ve been super energised to read anything and everything I can see. I’ve been reading a lot more and different things too. It’s been nice to jump into different genres and I’m enjoying just picking up whatever I feel like!

With YALC this month, I should probably be reading my YALC tbr…but I hate the word ‘should’ and I’m really not feeling it! I still want to read all of the books on it, just not right now. It’s just over a month until YALC now, which is no time whatsoever and naturally i’m having a huge panic about my TBR. As the author announcements were a little late this year, it’s been more of a panic than usual to get my reading in order and figure out what i want to read before the event. TBR piles are both a book blogger’s best friend and worst nightmare. Some people love having a TBR pile, some hate it and sometimes it just depends.
