Happy book haul! I’ve been on a little bit of a buying ban for a while – i say a while, i really mean it’s been about six weeks – and i’m back with another haul, a haul that definitely shouldn’t have been a haul. I was determined to not buy books, read from my back list and be really good at the moment. That hasn’t happened and i’m back in a tricky place with my TBR and the fact that it’s huge.

Recently i took a trip to Belgium with one of my friends, which was a whole lot of fun but incredibly busy. We chose to stay in Brussels but travel to Bruges and Antwerp while we were there, to see a little more of the country. I absolutely adored it there, and there will be another post up about my book shopping experience and a little more about travelling soon!

This weekend, I went to London with my girlfriend to see the musical, Waitress, which I’ve wanted to see for a good few months. The soundtrack is one of my favourites and I couldn’t wait to see the story and songs performed. I also visited the Natural History Museum for the first time which was fab and stayed at a wonderful Airbnb! Thought I’d do a little wrap up of my trip including a couple of little bookish things I did! Continue reading “London Weekend & Waitress Musical! (BEDM)”
Last week, me and my partner took an over night trip to Newcastle. I’d been wanting somewhere semi-new (I’ve been before) to explore and to get away from our city for a while. Newcastle seemed like a good option, with it’s museum options, shops and historic places to visit.

Very late in 2017 i uploaded a book haul which i said would be my last book haul in a long time. And then i went to London. We had this trip planned for a long time and saw Harry Potter and The Cursed Child while we were there (which was my second watch and just as incredible as the first). But this meant that i also had some free time to go to Foyles.

A few weeks ago now i took another trip to London. I absolutely love the city and being from Manchester myself, it’s not too much different. Just a whole lot bigger. I wrote a post about my time at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour (again) that you can read HERE if you want to know what else i got up to while in the capital. However, i also wanted to talk about my favourite thing to do in London. Book shop!

Last weekend i embarked on my fourth trip to the studios, in which i once again marveled at how small Daniel Radcliffe actually is, drank Butterbeer and walked down Diagon Ally. I realised that i’ve never written a blog post about how much i love this experience and how much it amazes me every time i go, especially when taking first-timers with me who are taking everything in. Here’s a little bit about my experiences after my fourth trip.
(This post will contain spoilers and photos from the tour, do not continue if you haven’t been and don’t wish to know or see anything).
