I’ve fallen in love with writing these posts, highlighting a book shop that i have fallen in love with, and want to share more of. In my last post, i talked about The Portal Book Shop, an LGBTQ+ book shop that i found in York on my travels. Today i wanted to talk about a lovely little place that i found somewhere i know pretty well.
I recently took a quick two day trip to see the sights in York. Obviously, whenever i visit a new place, i have to check out the bookshops in the nearby area. Luckily, York is packed with independent bookshops and really cool places to buy books, such as little indie charities!

Earlier this year, in May, i travelled around Belgium for a few days with one of my friends. Belgium is a place that i’ve wanted to see for quite some time, and after seeing the stunning architecture and streets whilst researching, it was somewhere i couldn’t pass up seeing.

Myself and Sophie recently took a trip to Amsterdam together, which was one of the most fun trips i’ve ever been on! I completely fell in love with the city and i actually started looking pretty hard for reasons and ways to move there. On top of everything else we did in the city, we obviously wanted to check out some of the book shops there and see what we could find!

I wanted to start a new series on here, an on going one that allows me to talk about wonderful bookshops that i’ve had the pleasure of visiting. I talk about them regularly anyway, so i might as well make it a thing. A few weeks ago now i took a trip to see my friend in Newcastle for a few days. This tends to happen every year now, in summer i visit her so we can have a beach day, wander around the city and do plenty of charity shop shopping. I absolutely adore this time away every year and it honestly feels like a holiday every time i go. This year i wanted to do a few different things.
