I thought September was going to be an excellent reading month for me, that did not happen. I have loads of books sitting and waiting on my TBR which i thought i’d have chance to get around to, but i’ve not truly had the time this month to read anything that wasn’t a whole bunch of graphic novels.

The OsemanVerse Book Tag
The wonderful Layla at Readable Life created a tag all about Alice Oseman. She’s named it OsemanVerse and honestly as soon as i found out that this was happening i jumped on the chance to be tagged in it. So i want to say a huge thank you to Layla who tagged us in the first post of The OsemanVerse.
No Big Deal by Bethany Rutter
*The book discussed in this post was gifted by Macmillan Publishing*
No Big Deal has been on my radar for quite some time now, and i was absolutely thrilled to find out that Bethany Rutter would be attending YALC this year, giving me the perfect excuse to pick it up. I made sure that No Big Deal was high up on my priority for my YALC TBR so i could get around to it ASAP.
Alex In Wonderland by Simon James Green
I adore Simon’s books and i’ve never been quiet about that online, or in person, basically i talk about Simon and his books an awful lot! When i found out that he was releasing a new YA novel that wasn’t in the Noah world, i was incredibly excited and had high hopes to see what his new characters would be like away from Noah, Harry and the old gang.
June 2019 Wrap-Up
Sadly, my reading took a little bit of a turn in June, with events happening, a lot of family issues, new relationships and a lot of work, i’ve had barely any time to read! I wanted to continue my good run of having really great reading months, and now that YALC is around the corner (like really, so very soon), i need to up my reading game again to get through some more of my TBR!
YALC 2019 TBR (BEDM)
I’ve already written a pretty brief post about the YALC announcements in general and what i think of them this year. You can see that HERE if you’re interested, but i’ve not talked about authors i’m exciting about or books that i want to read before YALC this year.
ARC Attack April
I had set aside April to catch up on my TBR of ARC’s. I seem to have accumulated quite a few in the last few months, and it was time to catch up on them before the release dates in April and May.
