Books I’m Bored Of Seeing

Working in a charity book shop (and have been doing for many years) means that you end up seeing the same books, over and over again. We are a shop run on donations. All the stock we receive is from the public kindly bringing that in to us to be able to sell and raise money. However, there are certain times when you’re sorting through piles of books that you want to tear out your hair. You’re literally begging for something interesting and different.

Skin Deep by Lauren Jarratt Rant

There is not often a time in which i have to stop reading a book because of its utter ridiculousness. I’m rather tolerant of many things in novels, because after all, it’s just fiction. For example i have happily enjoyed the story-lines of the Fifty Shades Of Grey series because i can separate that extravagant story from real life. That is the beauty of fiction, none of it is real. However Skin Deep by Lauren Jarrett is one of the few books i’ve found so disgusting that i’ve had to stop reading mid way.
