This is probably the most personal post I’ve written yet but I’ve been struggling for a couple of years to balance work and leisure time and it’s mainly down to having depression and anxiety. Balancing different areas of my life is something I’ve been working on lately, and have been for a while, as I find it very difficult. I know very few people who can balance quite naturally their hobbies and work and other aspects of life and I just kind of wanted to have a chat about how my reading and writing specifically is affected by my own mental health. New Year, Same Me
Before i start banging on about my bookish resolutions for this year (yes, that’s right, this year i’m making bookish resolutions), i wanted to talk a little bit about the goals i’m going to set myself for 2018.
Get To Know Me (Blogmas)
It’s been a very very long time since i introduced myself on the blog. Back when i first created this blog i think i might have uploaded a ‘get to know me’ post with some information about myself, however absolutely nothing since then. Since it’s nearly Christmas and i am once again posting every single day, i figured it would be a good idea to re-introduce myself.
BEDM: Organisation Tips
I’ve recently been on a trend of trying to organise my life and although I have literally just called this a “trend” I’m hoping it lasts a good while! I’ve been doing everything I can to organise myself and my days and I just want to share what I’m doing and any tips I have!
A Little Life Update
I’ve always been the least active on the blog (thank goodness for Sarah) but at the very end of 2016 and early this year I had a huge dip in motivation – not just for the blog and reading, but in many areas of my life. I didn’t have the motivation to read or write anything to be honest. Once every so often I would have an hour or so of productivity but that seemed to be it and I would burn out soon after. I’ve picked up now, but it’s been a strange few weeks, so here’s a little life update. Continue reading “A Little Life Update”
Bookish Confessions
One of my favourite posts to read are the bookish confessions posts. These are the posts in which readers reveal their deepest and darkest, often most embarrassing secrets when it comes to reading (and honestly, the ones they’re most ashamed of). They’re often quite hilarious, shameful and full of personal facts that i love learning about other book bloggers. So here you go, here are my 20 bookish confessions.
I Am The Reader Book Tag
We’ve done a lot of tags on this blog now, but one we haven’t done is the I Am The Reader Tag. We loved the idea of this tag because it’s not all about the books. Tags are fun because you get to choose different books you love (or hate) to represent the questions asked. However, this one is all about yourself and about you as a reader. It goes a little more in depth to you as a person and why you read. We loved doing this tag very much and we hope you enjoy getting to know a little more about us!
