January has been a much better reading month than i ever thought it would be. I’ve gotten in to the swing of reading again, and picking up a book is giving me a lot of joy at the moment (which is good because i have a lot to get through). January can go two ways for me usually, a really great reading month, or a questionable one. Here’s what i read in January 2021.

I’d honestly been incredibly busy with world, the UK were back in lockdown and i worked through and also i have to admit i’ve been in a little bit of a reading slump. Septemeber has seemed like a hectic month! I feel as though i’ve barely gotten any reading done, and what i have read hasn’t been top tier incredible for me. But i managed to get my hands on some exciting review books in September, and our readathon has been announced for October, so i’m sure i’ll get plenty of reading done in October.
Does anyone else look back on their monthly wrap-up and think, was it only this month i read that? Basically, this is a whole wrap-up of me thinking ‘was it only two weeks ago that i read that?’

It’s already August, and i don’t know where the years going but it’s making me incredibly happy that i passed my Goodreads challenge months ago! The little time i’ve had to read in July is showing in my wrap-up this month, so it’s a good job i read non-stop at the beginning of the year!
Is this…the first time I have ever done a wrap up? I think it might be! Sarah always does them but I’ve never jumped on this trend. Not necessarily because I haven’t wanted to but just because I’ve never given it a go and I forget to do things like this on a monthly basis. Anyway, here I am with potentially my first ever wrap up unless I’ve forgot about one from years ago! July was a fab reading month for me so I’m looking forward to diving in here. June has been a BUSY month. Which means i’ve had little time to read. I’ve officially ended my lockdown and have been back in work for the whole month, and whereas it’s been successful and a whole bunch of fun, it’s left little time for much else.
