I love doing a tag and I haven’t done one in a good while. I saw Lois from LoisReadsBooks post this one a few months ago and have been meaning to do it ever since. It’s a bit of a longer one but it was a lot of fun (especially since I love making lists and that’s what this felt like!). If you fancy doing this book tag yourself, go for it! Continue reading
We usually like to celebrate International Women’s Day bookishly at The Little Contemporary Corner. You can see one of our past posts HERE which i really enjoyed creating. This year to celebrate i wanted to pull together a list of women authors that i love and admire.
This blog started out as a hobby for me, and it still is. I absolutely adore writing and documenting my bookish thoughts and feelings and sharing them with so many people. They usually have bad characters or story-lines or are just a bit dry in general. However i always go away absolutely loving them. The ‘urban-dictionary’ meaning for ‘Trash’ is something that you base your existence on, more than just a fan of that thing. So here are some of the books that i have gladly given my soul and all of my money too.
Happy International Women’s Day! In case you didn’t know, this is the day when women can celebrate women, what we’ve achieved, what we will achieve and strong beings like ourselves! It’s wonderful. In celebration of this day, we have pulled together a whole host of ladies talking about their most inspirational female authors. Get yourselves comfortable because this could be a long post…
I have a huge problem with rereading. I don’t mean that I hate it, I just mean that I constantly reread books (or want to at least). For the past two years, one of my resolutions is to reread less and make sure I pick up a new book or one that’s been gathering dust for the past few months or years on my shelf. I’ve been sticking to it! I think there are pros and cons to rereading and I wanted to talk about them here. Continue reading
