Last year, I set some goals for my reading and I completed barely any of these! To be completely honest, I barely even thought about them! Last week, me and my partner took an over night trip to Newcastle. I’d been wanting somewhere semi-new (I’ve been before) to explore and to get away from our city for a while. Newcastle seemed like a good option, with it’s museum options, shops and historic places to visit.
So a couple of days ago I registered with my local library to get a library card. It isn’t a huge thing to do, I know, but I haven’t had a library card since being a kid, unless you count my university library. To be fair, I did sometimes did get books out to read for fun from my uni one but not very often. I used to love going to the library when I was a child; I even went to a homework club every week for a few months and honestly it was so fun! Continue reading “I (finally) Joined the Library!”
This isn’t a rhetorical question. Quite literally, why don’t i used the library more often?! I took a trip to my local library while killing some time in the town center today, and was amazed at what i found on the shelves in there.
