BOOThis month we read The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. It’s one of mine and Sarah’s favourite books and I feel like a lot of our friendship has ties to it. We have both read it more than once before we chose it for Book Club but had never read it to focus on the aspects of sexuality specifically.

LGBTQ+ Book Club – Girls of Paper and Fire

Proud Read-along Wrap Up & Book Club

This was all in aid of celebrating the wonderful release of Proud, a new LGBTQ+ anthology from Stripes, which was curated by Juno Dawson and includes a whole host of great YA authors and some wonderful illustrators.

Book Club Night 11 – The Long Way To A Small Angry Planet

image1Thursday was the 11th meet up of our LGBTQ+ Book Club! We have now changed the date to the last Thursday of each month rather than the first just so you know! This months read was The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers, which is a sci-fi fiction book. It follows Rosemary Harper, a human who joins the crew of the Wayfarer ship which tunnels through space.
