A few years ago, you may remember that we did a lot of work with Stripes Publishing centred around A Change Is Gonna Come, an incredible anthology with new voices and established authors. Myself and Sophie absolutely fell in love with Yasmin’s story in A Change Is Gonna Come, so when her debut novel got picked up by Hot Key, i couldn’t have been happier.

Big Bones is the first book i’ve read from Laura Dockrill. I’ve heard a lot about her work and wanted to read something by her for a long time. I had such high hopes for this long anticipated novel after reading We Were Liers a couple of years ago. I adored that book and hearing E Lockhart talk at YALC made me more excited for the release of Genuine Fraud.

I have been intrigued by Juno Dawson’s work ever since her appearance at YALC in 2016. She has such a strong online presence that i thought there’s no way her work would not match up to that on paper. After finding out that she’d written quite a few books that had slipped under my radar, i started to collect some for a rainy day. Spot The Difference was one of them.
