Rebellion (The 100) by Kass Morgan – Review

Ever since last summer i have developed an unhealthy obsession with The 100 series by Kass Morgan. I read the first installment ahead of YALC ’16 and it quickly became one of my favourite series (don’t let the covers put you off like i did). I could barely contain my excitement when i found out that she would be releasing a fourth novel in December of last year, fueling my love for these books.

Carrie by Stephen King

Book Review Header

I’ve been meaning to read Carrie for a long time, and after reading The Mist by Stephen King earlier this year, i wanted to try and improve my view on his writing (i wasn’t the biggest fan). Carrie seemed like a good place to start over for me as i absolutely adore the movie adaptations of this novel. I was hoping for something a little more from the book, and in that aspect i wasn’t disappointed.

The 100 by Kass Morgan

I picked up The 100 a long time ago back when the TV series started, in hope that i would read the book and then dive right in to the series. That didn’t happen. About a year ago i tried watching one episode of it and couldn’t focus, so ultimately gave up. I had little hope for this novel as i was losing interest. That was until i found out that Kass Morgan would be talking on the YA Rebellion talk at YALC and figured i should probably read it. I was surprised.

Alice and The Fly by James Rice

I picked up Alice and the Fly not to long as a spontaneous purchase. I’ve been trying very hard not to just pick up random books that I’ve not researched in to, because chances are I’ll lose interest very quickly and it would be once big waste of money. But the cover stood out to me and the story sounded interesting so I thought I’d give it a go.
