I’ve spent an increasing amount of time on Goodreads at the moment. Naturally, as i’m not working and spending more time reading and on my laptop than ever, i’ve found myself scrolling through people’s read lists, looking and my recommendations and honestly just having a look how well i did on previous years challenges.

This year was my first year attempting to complete a reading challenge. I’ve always had some kind of idea of how many books i’d like to read in a year, and have always tried my best to beat last years achievements. However, 2017 is the first year in which i have added a challenge to my Goodreads and properly tracked my progress.

As i’m sure most of you are aware, there has been a massive uproar within the book blogging community that centers around Goodreads and NetGalley. I’ve been really excited about this particular topic as I love finding interesting villains who are brilliant characters. There’s nothing better than reading a book and finding the villain to be just as interesting (if not more) than the protagonist and the heroes of the story. Normally, my first choice would be Bellatrix (I could write a whole post on her alone) but I’m going to be avoiding Harry Potter characters for this week as I want to mention some who maybe aren’t as obvious.

This weeks Top 5 Wednesday post is the five books that i want to re-read the most. I have never been a lover of re-reading books unless i’m absolutely obsessed with them, i don’t see the point in revisiting stories unless you really really want to. But there are some books that i will re-read over and over again and still love. Here are the books that i currently want to re-read.
