Jack Of Hearts (And Other Parts) by L.C. Rosen has been on my TBR for quite some time now. It was first released in the U.S. and took it’s sweet time to be picked up over in the U.K. So admittedly, i was impatient by the time its February release came around.

I’ve been putting off this read for a very long time for some reason. When Christmas rolled around, i kept forgetting that this was on my shelf, and trust me, it’s been there a very, very long time now. Finally this Christmas, i picked it up while i was in the mood for an easy, festive read.

I’d been hearing really mixed things about Dumplin’ recently. The book has been out for some time, and honestly, it’s been on my shelf for a few years now, but nothing was making me want to pick it up. After the mixed reviews, i had no idea what to think. Luckily, with the release of the Netflix movie, i decided to pick it up, and i absolutely adored it.

Our LGBTQ+ Book Club pick a few months ago was Ramona Blue. It’s been on my shelf for a few months now and i had been very excited about getting around to it, luckily so was everyone at book club! I’ve also had Dumplin’ on my shelves for a while, maybe this was the push i need to read everything else Julie has written.

Noah Can’t Even was one of my few five star books of 2017, and i absolutely adored it. It has a laugh out loud moment on every page and Simon writes a tragic teenager perfectly. I was hoping i’d find Noah Could Never to be exactly the same. Thank God i wasn’t disappointed.

Honestly, the one thing that’s been putting me off reading this book for so long was the ridiculous price of the American import. Once i found out that More Happy Than Not would be getting a U.K release, i was thrilled i’d be able to read this book much cheaper and start with Adam’s debut novel.

*Thank you to Hatchette Kids for sending me a copy of Floored and letting me be apart of the blog tour promo team for this book*
Floored has been one of my most anticipated books of this year since i found out about it. The idea behind the book is challenging to say the least, with Sara Barnard, Melinda Salisbury, Non Pratt, Holly Bourne, Eleanor Wood, Lisa Williamson and Tanya Byrne all involved in the writing of Floored. It sounded like it was going to be a wild ride and i had high hopes on it being excellent as i have already adored the work of these authors for a long time.
