It’s nice to reach the end of the year and try and focus on the positives as much as possible. I always love looking back at books I’ve read, films and TV shows I’ve watched and new hobbies/interests I may have picked up. It’s always really fun to remember what new things you’ve discovered and connected with throughout the year!
Last year i was an extremely bad blogger and missed out on the whole ‘my favourite books of the year’ in December thing. It’s something that i still think about missing a lot, so i wanted to make sure that i did on this year to share the best books that i read in 2018.
One of mine and Sophie’s reading resolutions for this year was to read someone else’s favourite book. I think we’ve both taken this resolution a little further than we intended and have decided to read a lot of people’s favourite books this year.

Every reader has those trashy books that they are complete trash for (could there have been a more ‘internet’ sentence ever spoken?) I’m one of those people who gets really in to books, and adore every single little bit of them. I’m also one of those people where these books are usually completely awful. They usually have bad characters or story-lines or are just a bit dry in general. However i always go away absolutely loving them. The ‘urban-dictionary’ meaning for ‘Trash’ is something that you base your existence on, more than just a fan of that thing. So here are some of the books that i have gladly given my soul and all of my money too.
Is anyone else a little sick of listening to the same answers on this blog? I don’t blame you if you are, because i’m a little sick of reading over my own opinions. Today we’re spicing things up a little and getting another fantastic guest blogger involved! One of my good pals Gemma (at Gems Curiosity Blog) has taken over today’s post to give us all her top 5 books of 2016.
It’s starting to get colder outside and its getting to that time of the year to get cosy with a book under a lot of blankets while it (hopefully) snows outside! We have created the perfect list of books for you to try out this winter!
