I hope everyone had lovely Christmases, and got all the books that they were hoping for! This year wasn’t a proper Christmas for us, from a lot of outside factors going on, but i’m making up for it now that Christmas is over by doing all the fun things possible. I got a couple of books as gifts for Christmas, and also got myself a couple of presents (because why not), so i wanted to share my most recent purchases with you!
Okay, so my excuse for a December book haul is that my family have decided to not really do Christmas presents this year, which means i won’t be getting many, if any books as presents (i’m actually really happy about this). So, i thought that a few treats here and there won’t hurt too much in December.
I thought I’d do a bit of a post about my feelings on the kind of books I want to read this year as well as a bit of a haul. I’ve never actually done a book haul (yes, this is clearly Sophie, not Sarah!) so this is kind of my first one! I received so many books as gifts for Christmas and bought quite a few myself in December so I figured it would be a good idea to showcase them a little. I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas with families and friends, and lets face it, i also hope Santa left some nice books for you on the 25th. I had a really great Christmas, shut off from the world with my nearest and dearest and to be honest, did a lot of lazing around reading. I also happened to get a lot of great books for Christmas.
