As you might know from my previous blog post, i’ve been really in to rom-com’s and contemporary novels at the moment. Light and easy reads that make your heart happy. I decided amongst that thought to pick up the newly released 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston. A festive read full of promising contemporary cute moments.
I hope everyone had lovely Christmases, and got all the books that they were hoping for! This year wasn’t a proper Christmas for us, from a lot of outside factors going on, but i’m making up for it now that Christmas is over by doing all the fun things possible. I got a couple of books as gifts for Christmas, and also got myself a couple of presents (because why not), so i wanted to share my most recent purchases with you!
I’ve been putting off this read for a very long time for some reason. When Christmas rolled around, i kept forgetting that this was on my shelf, and trust me, it’s been there a very, very long time now. Finally this Christmas, i picked it up while i was in the mood for an easy, festive read.

It’s finally here – it’s Christmas Day! So HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! It feels like it’s been two minutes since last Christmas, but this year has been a big year for us and we’re excited to relax with our families.
I’ve done Blogmas a few times now, and i always really enjoy posting every day on the run up to Christmas. It’s such a good excuse to get in the festive spirit, talk about Christmas, books, and Christmassy books. Also, the feedback that you get on the blog over Blogmas is excellent, i really love how much interaction everyone gets during December!
In the last few years my goal has been to read the entirety of David Levithan’s work. As an author that i’ve been fond of for quite some time, i’d like to read everything he’s done to be firm in my love for him. Last year i read Dash and Lily’s Book Of Dares, co-written by Rachel Cohn in order to add to ,my read list.

Christmas has been and gone (and we completed Blogmas, woo) which means for many of us, our book hauls are coming. I absolutely love seeing what books others got for Christmas. In fact our group chat of bloggers made sure to put our book hauls in the chat on Christmas morning.
