There is always the age old question when you find out a book has a movie deal that is
“Is it actually going to do it justice?”
We all know that there are plenty of movie adaptations that have not done the book justice at all (*cough* I Am Number Four) but there are plenty that excel all expectations and make a reader beyond happy when they see their favourite story come to life on the screen. Me Before You was definitely one of those for me.

Audrey doesn’t leave the house. She’s plagued with anxiety, so much so that her only option is to wear sunglasses around everyone to avoid eye contact, which isn’t exactly ideal when you’re falling for your brothers best friend and you just want to leave the house and get better. But when a note slides through her letter box, exclaiming that she was being given a kiss, it starts the long road to recovery for Audrey.
So far in 2016 i’ve had some really great reading months, and i’m personally very happy with the amount of reading that i’ve achieved (and how much i’ve lowered my TBR pile)! I May has been no different. I’ve managed to read a hefty amount for myself again, and i’m keeping on top of my reading and enjoying my new found freedom of no longer being a university student and being swamped with assignments. Here’s to summer reading!
Always With Love has been one of my most (if not the most) anticipated novels of 2016 for me. I’m in love with Giovanna’s stories and the way she tells these tales of real people in real situations. You simply cannot help but love her writing style.
Billy and Me is not a new novel, but it is one that i cannot help but keep coming back to as i dive in to the world of Sophie and Billy again and again. I released i’ve read it so many times but not actually reviewed it yet. The cause for my reread this time is the upcoming release of Always With Love, which is set to give us more antics from my favourite literary couple.
Whether you’re in a relationship or you’re not, Valentine’s Day is upon us and filled with couples celebrating. I’m neither for or against Valentine’s Day personally, I’m not bitter nor am I completely loved up with the person I’m with on just one day of the year. But no matter what your opinion is on the topic, most girls love a good romance novel, and the best time to dive in to a new love story is obviously Valentine’s Day!
