I thought September was going to be an excellent reading month for me, that did not happen. I have loads of books sitting and waiting on my TBR which i thought i’d have chance to get around to, but i’ve not truly had the time this month to read anything that wasn’t a whole bunch of graphic novels.

Back on the Reading Bandwagon – Blogtober

Before YALC (ages ago, I know), I wrote a post about being in a bit of a reading slump, mainly a YA reading slump but I wasn’t feeling anything much really. Since YALC, I’ve been super energised to read anything and everything I can see. I’ve been reading a lot more and different things too. It’s been nice to jump into different genres and I’m enjoying just picking up whatever I feel like!

The month after YALC is always one of my best reading months. This whole year has been quite good for reading, however once i’ve been to YALC and feel rejuvenated to read, i get my most done in August. This year has been no different. A Honest Post About ARCs

I think as book bloggers we think a lot about ways to promote books easily and ways to increase your content easily, a lot. A lot of our minds turn to ARC’s (or proof copies) as a way to engage with recent releases, publishers and authors in a really easy manner. I’ve been thinking a lot recently about the book community and the trading and receiving of ARC’s, and i wanted to write an honest post about my thoughts, no matter how controversial they are.
