A few months ago, Sarah and I co-read All That She Can See by Carrie Hope Fletcher – we figured it would also be good to review it as well as use a recipe from it! We can tell you now that the Victoria sponge recipe is pretty damn great. The book needs a little more discussion however so dive in to see my thoughts on it.

On the 4th of September i attended the Carrie Hope Fletcher All That She Can See signing in Manchester. I’ve been trying to attend a Carrie signing for a long time, as i’ve been quite a big fan of hers for a while and more recently (well, since she became an author), have completely fallen in love with her writing too.
It’s the first Monday of the month (Christmas month! Ahh) so that means that it’s time to continue our series of “Lessons To Be Learned From…”. This weeks addition to the collection is Evie Snow from Carrie Hope Fletcher’s On The Other Side.
It’s Top 5 Wednesday day again! I don’t know where the weeks go because i’m always shocked when it’s time to put up my Wednesday post again! Well this weeks topic is top t non-canon ships. For those of you that don’t spend all your time on the internet, this means the couples that you ‘ship’ that are not actually together in the book. So it could be the main character and their best friend, instead of the main character and their boyfriend/girlfriend. You could even let your heart run wild and ship people from two different worlds or series. I usually stick to what’s written with the pairings that i like in novels, so i’ve had to rack my brains for this one!
On The Other Side by Carrie Hope Fletcher was released just over a week ago. As soon as I picked up my preordered copy, I went in to the nearest coffee shop and started reading. I’m a huge fan of Carrie’s and whereas I wasn’t massively keen on All I Know Now (I’m just the wrong age I think) I wanted to give her fiction work a try. I cannot praise it enough.

Over here at the Little Contemporary Corner we really love Carrie Hope Fletcher. So as you can imagine with the release of her new novel imminent, we’re pretty much waking up excited every morning. There’s just so much goddamn talent in that Fletcher family!

Carrie Fletcher drew people in to her world of writing with her release of All I Know Now earlier this year. It wasn’t quite an advice book, or a self-help book. It was a reflection of her own life with anecdotes that you could probably learn from yourself. As stated herself it was a wondering on ‘growing up gracefully.’
