Waterstones YA Bloggers Event

My local Watersones have been hosting a YA Book Bloggers Event for a little while now. It has been hosted by the runners of the YA section of the store and we have met up three times now in total. Each time is a blast and a great way to meet and interact with local bloggers.

New Year Reading Thoughts + Book Haul

chat26981371_1633406453373607_582222484_oI thought I’d do a bit of a post about my feelings on the kind of books I want to read this year as well as a bit of a haul. I’ve never actually done a book haul (yes, this is clearly Sophie, not Sarah!) so this is kind of my first one! I managed to pick up quite a few new releases and had a shop around in some charity shops for some older novels i’d been after. This could be a big haul so make a brew.

YALC 2017 – Book Haul

My YALC book haul from last year looks extremely disappointing next to this years. I made sure when i was there that i set myself a limit on how much i wanted to spend, only got books i really wanted and let myself grab some ARCs i might not normally read to try out some new genres. I met all those criteria, but i still ended up with a lot of books…
