Where to Buy Books debate (BEDM)

chatThis is a topic I have spoken to quite a few people about recently and I feel there is quite a bit of judgement from some of the bookish community. Where you buy your books is a debate which has a lot of value. After all, it is important to know if the author and publisher is receiving the money for what they have done. However, I am not okay with people negatively judging people for buying books cheap! This is a slight rant to be honest!  Continue reading

2019 Bookish Goals (Blogmas)

chatLast year, I set some goals for my reading and I completed barely any of these! To be completely honest, I barely even thought about them! BEDM: Book Haul

It’s been quite a while since i’ve done a book haul. My lent goal this year was to not buy books while it lasted, and i actually achieved it! Along with that and being on holiday and some new releases, i’ve managed to acquire quite a few new books in the last month or so. I would by lying if i said i’d remember everything i got, so here’s a snippet of what’s joined my shelves recently.

BOOK BAN EXPLAINED

I talk a lot on this blog about the ‘book ban’ that i am regularly on, but then i know i post book hauls quite often. I can understand this is a little confusing and looks like i’m cheating or slacking a lot of the time. When in reality, i’m not (I promise!) So this post is to explain what my book ban is about and how you can put your on a much stricter book ban if you’re really struggling!
