A couple of weeks ago, me and Sarah had the opportunity to interview Alwyn Hamilton, author of the Rebel of the Sands series! It was so wonderful to be able to meet her and ask questions and we honestly learned a lot and took away some brilliant writing advice. She is a lovely human being and we had such a wonderful chat! We wanted to know mainly about writing and Alwyn’s process when writing her books. A big thanks to Kimi at Teensgate for the opportunity!
It’s been a long time since i did a reading update on the blog. I regularly Tweet on our blog Twitter (@TLCCBlog) updates of what i’m reading and when i’ve finished a book, however i rarely put anything on the blog about the books that i’m currently reading. So i’m just checking in with you all and doing a bit of housekeeping!
YALC is approaching quickly and that means our excitement is building by the day. We are looking forward to meeting so many incredible authors and finding out more about how they write and the fantastic books that are on our shelves at home. There are a whole host of great authors going to YALC this year (and we’re a little in awe about how many we actually get to be in the same room as at once), so many of them we cannot wait to hear talk. Here’s a list of the authors that we are most excited about seeing.
