Favourite Reads of LGBTQ+ Book Club

LGBTQ+ HeaderOur LGBTQ+ Book Club has been on hold a little at the moment due to COVID-19 and everything going on at the moment. I miss it very much, particularly chatting with everyone and having in-depth discussions about various queer books! I thought I’d share some of my personal favourites we have read so far. They Both Die At The End by Adam Silvera

Book Review Header

They Both Die At The End was our book club pick for September 2019 – we really spread the joy with this one (and i’m incredibly late to uploading this review!). It was my second Adam Silvera novel and I can safely confirm they’re all going to be as sad as each other. However, I enjoyed this one a whole lot more.

Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera Interview

Interview HeaderAt the end of October, we got the amazing opportunity to interview Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera before their event about their co-written novel, What If It’s Us. It was such a brilliant day and I loved being surrounded by others who love their stories. I feel so lucky that we got the chance to do this as they have both written stories that I completely adore so it was lovely to be able to chat to them about their joint one! Keep reading for the interview (by two best friends, for two best friends – wholesome!) Continue reading “Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera Interview”

Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera Book Event

They’re such huge names in YA and even the world now after the success of Love, Simon and it was wonderful to hear them talk in Manchester.

What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera

Book Review Header

I think What If It’s Us has been the most anticipated book of the year for so many people. It feels so strange that we’ve been waiting for this for so long and all of a sudden it’s out and released and we’re all able to read it. I picked up a copy of it when myself and Sophie were in Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago so i could get a head start (and also i much prefer the U.S. cover to the U.K.).
