There are so very few fathers or father figures in novels that make a big impact, and it’s quite sad. I really wish there were more fathers involved in novels, they can be such a figure of support and make me really happy when i read about their relationship with their children. I always like the fathers in novels that remind me the most of my dad, I think I like reading about him personified in to different characters. Well here is my little list of my favourite fathers or father figures in novels!

May 2016 Wrap-Up

So far in 2016 i’ve had some really great reading months, and i’m personally very happy with the amount of reading that i’ve achieved (and how much i’ve lowered my TBR pile)! I May has been no different. I’ve managed to read a hefty amount for myself again, and i’m keeping on top of my reading and enjoying my new found freedom of no longer being a university student and being swamped with assignments. Top 5 Book Theme Songs

This weeks Top 5 Wednesday post is the top 5 songs that you associate with certain books. This can be something that is a part of the movie adaptation of the book, a song you were listening to at the time of reading, a song that fits with a tone of a book or lyrics that match the story. I personally do not really associate songs to books because I cannot listen to music while I read at all, but I thought this might be interesting. I tend to associate music to time periods in my life and events, I’m not sure how this will work with books!
