I love books, I love films – why not combine the two together and talk about how much I adore them? I want to talk about A Monster Calls, directed by J.A. Bayona and based on the book written by Patrick Ness! It’s a bit of a messy chat but hey, I needed to release some feelings.
This months ‘Lessons We Can Learn From…’ post is celebrating the release of A Monster Calls in cinemas. The novel penned by Patrick Ness, has been a huge success, resulting in numerous awards, reprints, book club editions and now a screen version so that everyone can enjoy this wonderfully fantastic story.
and months ago, Sarah told me I had to buy this book especially when we found a signed copy in Waterstones! It’s taken me ages to read it but I finally have and I’m so glad because it is probably up there with many of my favourite books.
2016 is set to bring us a whole heap of exciting movies that have been based on books. I’m not usually the kind of person who gets excited about movie releases, however there are some incredible books this year that I cannot wait to be brought to life on screen!
