Being a Uni student it means I have an extortionate amount of time off in the summer. Unlike the rest of my peers who spend these months having a social life, I become a hermit and read. This summer I’ve managed to read a total of nine books at the time of writing this. Continue reading “WHAT I’VE READ THIS SUMMER AND TBR!”
P.S I Still Love You picks up right where To All The Boy’s I Loved Before finishes, making it impossible to not want to read them one after the other. The continuous story between the two novels made it feel like one long love story that I literally couldn’t put down (that’s a lie, it took a slow reader like me a good 4 days to read it.) If you’re in two minds whether to pick this book up after reading the first, I highly recommend you stop reading this for a moment and go to order it right now.

I’m going to take a post out of talking about books to talk about bookshops!
As a resident of the North, I rarely get chance to travel south down to London and look around – it’s usually a pass through, on to another train to a convention. But this last few days I’ve had chance to wander the (expensive) streets, and my first stop was Foyles at Charing Cross. I’d never been to Foyles and had heard numerous stories that made it sound like absolute words-on-a-page heaven. So as soon as I arrived in London I marched my family the whole thirty minute walk to find this wondrous store. Continue reading “My First Foyles Trip”
Another Day by David Levithan was probably my most anticipated book of 2015. Whereas I can say that I enjoyed Another Day, it in no way made as big of an impression on me as Every Day did.

I’ve seen so much dedication from everyone taking part, determined to read as much as they could and achieve those seven goals set! It’s been an amazing thing to be a part of on YouTube and Twitter and i’ve spoken to so many people about books it’s been a little overwhelming! However, I sadly haven’t been as dedicated due to a very busy schedule (meeting with fellow team member Sophie to gossip.) Hope was not lost and here is my BookTubeAThon wrap up for 2015! Continue reading “Booktube A Thon 2015 Wrap-Up”
I was extremely late picking up To All The Boy’s I’ve Loved Before, shamefully this was because the cover just never incised me (don’t judge a book and all blah blah blah). That is one action that I have lived to regret ever since.

“Every day is the same for Rhiannon. She has convinced herself that she deserves her distant, moody boyfriend, Justin. She knows the rules: Don’t be needy. Avoid upsetting him. Never get your hopes up.
Then, out of the blue, they share a perfect day together – perfect, that is, until Justin doesn’t remember anything about it. Confused, and yearning for another day as great as that one, Rhiannon starts to question everything. And that’s when a stranger tells her that the Justin she spent that time with … wasn’t Justin at all.” Continue reading “How Long Have We Been Waiting For “Another Day”?”
