With YALC this month, I should probably be reading my YALC tbr…but I hate the word ‘should’ and I’m really not feeling it! I still want to read all of the books on it, just not right now. To be honest, I’ve not read loads the past few months anyway, partially because I haven’t had chance as well as being in a bit of a slump. I wanted to get my feelings out about all this because I feel kind of bad about it even though there’s no reason to! Continue reading “My YALC Reading Slump”

Dumplin’ Film Chat (BEDM)
Now, I haven’t actually read Dumplin’ but I watched the film on Netflix the other day and I absolutely loved it. A lot of people have recommended me both the book and the film adaptation but I just never fully fancied it. I wasn’t sure if I’d be a fan. However, I’m now right on the hype (better late than never). Continue reading “Dumplin’ Film Chat (BEDM)”
The Treatment by C. L. Taylor
This book was released a couple of days ago and Sarah was lucky enough to get an ARC at YALC! I started it earlier in the week after being stuck in a reading slump for a while, and I think it’s exactly what I needed!

I read a total of five books and one graphic novel in August and I’m pretty damn pleased with that if I do say so myself! Continue reading “August 2015 Wrap-Up”
Aristotle & Dante Discover The Secrets Of The Universe By Benjamin Alire Saenz

But as more time passed and I got to thinking about what the story is actually about my mind changed completely

Night Owls By Jenn Bennett
Not often it only takes me a day to read a book, it has to be a pretty special book. Night Owls is one of those that took me less than 24 hours to read front to back. I found it hard to put it down as the story flowed so well from one scene to the next. It’s the perfect amount of cheesy love story mixed with adrenaline pumping through pencil sketched veins.
