July 2018 Wrap-Up

Admittedly i thought i’d get absolutely nothing read in July. It’s YALC month, and also i’ve managed to rope myself in to working full time throughout July, minimising my reading opportunities. Luckily for me, that didn’t really happen and i felt more inspired to read than ever. I ditched my YALC TBR (post HERE) and got more read than i ever thought i would!

June 2018 Wrap-Up

YALC is getting closer and closer which means my reading is getting a little bit more panicked! I aimed to read quite a bit in June, but as it turned out i’ve had quite a busy life which involved two trips away. Admittedly not much reading got done on either of these, or at least not as much reading as i would have hoped (some book buying got done though, oops). However i have been enjoying reading from my YALC list and i’m back to Book Club reading after missing June’s meeting! Here’s what i read this month.

May 2018 Wrap-Up

I was aiming to have a great reading month in May. The pressure of my YALC TBR staring at me every day is getting quite intense and i’m ready to get a lot of that knocked off my list. I wanted to spend a lot of time on my YALC TBR and make a good start this month, however with book club and our first proper pick of book club being April, i think i had less time than i anticipated.

February 2018 Wrap-Up

After my average reading month in January i really wanted to pick up the pace a little in Feburary and start meeting my reading challenge targets. Sadly that’s not really happened. I’ve read enough to make me feel as though i’ve been productive, but not enough to make me hit those targets. I’m using my birthday and a holiday as a definite excuse for this behaviour. Next month i’ll have to read plenty of short books i think!

January 2018 Wrap-Up

January 2017 was a great reading month for me, possibly one of my best reading months to date. So naturally i want hoping for great things from January 2018. It didn’t necessarily work out the way i expected, being far more busy than i planned to be and then also going away for a week made reading a little difficult.
