November 2018 Wrap-Up

After hitting my reading target last month, i figured my reading would slack a little if i’m honest. Then again, i do have the idea that i want to end my year of great reading on a high note, and continue to read books that i know i’ll love. Either way, i ended up having a much better reading month than i anticipated.

October 2018 Wrap-Up

The end of October has reached us and how is the end of the year right around the corner? I feel like it’s just hitting me and i’m now cold and sad. However, i’ve done plenty of reading this month because i’ve been hiding out from the cold. I’ve had a few books that i’ve definitely had to read, and some i’ve managed to get in for fun!

September 2018 Wrap-Up

This month i started to hit a reading slump quite hard. Honestly, it’s the first time i’ve ever felt actually panicked by a reading slump. I found it so hard to get in to books and be interested in anything, along with taking a long time to finish books i was actually reading. Towards the end of the month i managed to pick up pace again a little and read some books that i really really loved in September!

August 2018 Wrap-Up

I’ve come to assume that because i’ve been having great reading months, a slump is just around the corner. I don’t think that the slump has hit yet, however my reading speed is slowing down again to a much more ‘normal’ pace for me. I’ve read some books that i’ve really loved in August though, so i’m happy for my pace to be continuing on at this speed. Continue reading

July 2018 Wrap-Up

Admittedly i thought i’d get absolutely nothing read in July. It’s YALC month, and also i’ve managed to rope myself in to working full time throughout July, minimising my reading opportunities. Luckily for me, that didn’t really happen and i felt more inspired to read than ever. I ditched my YALC TBR (post HERE) and got more read than i ever thought i would!

June 2018 Wrap-Up

YALC is getting closer and closer which means my reading is getting a little bit more panicked! I aimed to read quite a bit in June, but as it turned out i’ve had quite a busy life which involved two trips away. Admittedly not much reading got done on either of these, or at least not as much reading as i would have hoped (some book buying got done though, oops). However i have been enjoying reading from my YALC list and i’m back to Book Club reading after missing June’s meeting! Here’s what i read this month.

May 2018 Wrap-Up

I was aiming to have a great reading month in May. The pressure of my YALC TBR staring at me every day is getting quite intense and i’m ready to get a lot of that knocked off my list. Admittedly, i started the month a little rocky in a bit of a reading slump, but i managed to pull it back and actually started to read pretty quickly towards the end of the month thanks to some of my new favourite books. Here’s what i managed to read in May.
