I’m going to come out (not of the closet, i already did that), and say that i have bought A LOT of books recently. If you read my last post, i have recently taken some time off work, and that lead to a lot of independant book shop trips. I picked up quite the mix of books in the last few months, and i have to say, i’m really excited about all of them.Continue reading “A Huge Book Haul”
I can’t say this is most of my recent purchases, i cannot admit that at all, however i wanted to share with you a small part of the books i’ve recently hauled, which are absolutely stunning hardbacks. I’ve chosen in the last few months to treat myself to some hardbacks that either i’ve really wanted, or known very little about. So, as usual, i think in my last haul i said i was going to stop buying books, and as usual, they didn’t happen did it. I had my birthday, and honestly when stuck inside during lockdown i’ve found i tend to just buy a lot of books! Sarah also did a book haul the other day which you can catch up on here.Continue reading “A Little Book Haul”
I would like to preface this post with, this is more of an annual leave book haul. It had been planned that on my annual leave from work, i’d explore the book shops i hadn’t been in for months, and try and regain a little sanity in the real world again. Natually, i bought too many books.Continue reading “The Book-Ban Book-Haul”
As we’re all still technically in lockdown, i have officially been in the house for the whole of May. I thought this would help with my book buying habits, but it didn’t really. I’ve half been buying books because it helps me get through being at home, and half been strict with myself because i want to get some books from my backlist read.
