Simon James Green (who happens to be one of my favourite UKYA novelists), is blessing us with yet another LGBTQ+ book. This time, inspired by Grease! You’re The One That I Want is hitting shelves on THURSDAY! That’s right, Thursday the 3rd of June, and i cannot wait for everyone to get their hands on it. But for today’s post, Simon himself has written us a post all about You’re The One That I Want and his love for Grease, the inspiration behind the book!Continue reading “Grease Is The Word by Simon James Green”
For the second year running, my first read of the year is a book from Lisa Williamson and yet again, it’s a wonderful way to start it! I’m super happy to be on the blog tour for First Day of My Life as I genuinely loved the book and enjoyed so many aspects which I will discuss below. A huge thank you to David Fickling Books and Annabelle at ed pr for gifting me a copy of the book!Continue reading “First Day of My Life by Lisa Williamson – Blog Tour”
To celebrate release week for The Rules by Tracy Darnton, we have hopped on to the blog tour with a whole host of excellent bloggers. Tracy has kindly written a post for us about advent calendars and how they are used in her newly released YA thriller. We both adored her story The Letter in I’ll Be Home For Christmas the anthology, so thought it would be the best way to celebrate the connection between both of those stories. For now, we will hand you over to Tracy.
We haven’t done a ton of blog tours recently but this one jumped out because I’ve been wanting to read Paper Avalanche for quite a while. Sarah loves it and told me I would definitely like it and she was very right! This is the first book of Lisa Williamson’s I’ve read (not including her sections in Floored) and the story was fantastic. I was lucky enough to be gifted this book – read on for details and all of my thoughts! Continue reading “Paper Avalanche by Lisa Williamson – Blog Tour”
We were asked by Charlie at Stripes Publishing to be a part of the blog tour for Proud. Blog Tours are not something we get involved with a whole bunch anymore, but how could we pass up the opportunity to talk about one of our favourite books of the last year?
I was asked by the wonderful Faye at Clink Street Publishing to take part in the 12 Days Of Clink Street Blog Tour this Christmas. I really love doing events like this over the festive period because i love the inclusivity of it and having everyone work together over Christmas is just a nice feeling.
Floored is officially out for you to buy! Last year at YALC i remember picking up a sampler and being pained about how far away this release felt. Little did i know i had an exciting email to be apart of the Floored blog tour and get involved with the release of it. There have been four posts before mine, and for today’s i’ve written a monologue of my character, Velvet. She’s feisty and all round excellent – i hope you enjoy this little snippet in to her attending the launch party of Floored.
