LGBTQ+ Book Club Update – Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan

LGBTQ+ Book Club HeaderOur LGBTQ+ book club has been running for quite some time now, and we’re on our fourth book of the club! We’re all so happy with how well received all these books have been and how many people are getting involved. More so, me and Sophie have been managing to read the same books every month, which never happens and was the ultimate goal of this whole book club.

As last month has come to a close and our time reading The Miseducation of Cameron Post is up (except for mine, i’m so incredibly far behind oops), it’s time to start our new novel for September – October.

July – August has been filled with updates and fun from The Miseducation of Cameron Post, we’ve been updating you on Twitter (@TLCCBlog) with our thoughts and i have a thread going on of my thoughts while reading. So far i really am enjoying the story. It’s been agreed by most of our readers that it’s a slow start (for me, very slow) however picks up towards the end. It never losings the spark of the story though and for that i really love it.

Sophie has already read and reviewed Emily Danforth’s novel and you can see her full review HERE for her own opinions on the novel. I think we’ll end up with a lot of similar feelings.

Our next book for September 1st until October 31st is

Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan

I’ve been slowly working my way through everything David Levithan has written, and i’m quite close to having read it all i think. Two Boys Kissing is something that’s been on my shelf for a very long time that i’ve wanted to get to. It was chosen this month so i would finally get around to it!

Me and Sophie will be reading this one together in September so we will keep you updated with our thoughts as we read-along!

I know you all enjoy the next novel as you did the last. Keep getting involved and tweeting along with our hashtag #TLCCBookClub.
