Last year we hosted a Halloween read-along of Miss Peregrines Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. We updated you on our progress throughout the holiday and it felt like the perfect book to be read when the world started getting a little more creepy and cold as we approached Halloween. This year, we will be doing the exact same!
Obviously we won’t be reading the same novel this year as we did last year, that would be silly. We have put our thinking caps on and we have come up with the perfect book to get us in to the Halloween mood! We will be reading:
Carrie by Stephen King
We already have plenty of people interested in joining our read-along this year and we are very excited to be hosting this event again. You can join in with us as usual by grabbing yourself a copy of Carrie and keeping up with our reading on the blog and also over on our Twitter at @TLCCBlog.
Both me and Sophie will be updating you throughout the read-along with our progress of the novel and our thoughts on the writing, characters and storyline.
This year we are giving people a little bit more time for the read-along, which means it will be running a little bit longer than we usually leave. We will be starting the read on the 26th of October and will be finishing up on the 6th of November. That gives you plenty of time to get the novel read.
