It’s day 2 of the read-along and it’s also Christmas Eve Eve! Only two days to go until Christmas!
I was really excited to be reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe for the Christmas read-along this year because I remember reading all The Chronicles of Narnia books as a child and I adored them!
I’m about 5 chapters in and I am getting through it much quicker than I expected. I won’t be surprised if I finish it tomorrow morning! It is much shorter than I remembered when I read it so many years ago but I quite enjoy the length of it so far.
I, like Sarah, am not Lucy’s biggest fan. I never have been. The story does have an adorably charming tone and style about it though and I think that’s what I love the most.
There may not be another update until after boxing day (we will see how busy we are, but it is Christmas after all!) so this may be the last update before Christmas.
