I first found the Literary Emporium when Carrie Fletcher posted on Instagram about some of their amazing pieces. Ever since I’ve been hooked on their bookish items and keep regularly checking their website for updates. It’s a constant struggle being a student with little money because it means that I can’t buy all the lovely items that I really want. But receiving them after waiting is so satisfying! The Literary Emporium is definitely one of my favourite online shops, they make me want to dress head to toe in books (I’m not entirely sure that’s socially acceptable sadly!)
I’ve found that their pieces are reasonably priced along with very well made. They’re not brash or bold but are fun and quirky. Each item is cleverly crafted to be related to books without being too in your face, screaming “Look at me! I’M FROM THAT BOOK!” One of the massive bonuses to shopping at their online store is that they offer free delivery with all
orders of £10 which we all admit is incredibly handy! Each piece is perfect for a book lover, I can guarantee that anyone interested in books would love something from The Literary Emporium.
I have invested in only a few pieces so far from this magical shop but I intend on spending my (not so well earned) student loan on plenty more lovely bits! To begin with I bought the set of three notebooks which are inspired by Harry Potter. I chose one of each, one for me and one for either of my friends. It was a tough choice choosing the one that I got to keep because they’re all so lovely! The notebook itself is a standard A5 size with lined paper. It’s great for notes, lists or using for an exercise book!
The other piece that I have very recently purchased was the “Books before Boys” necklace. I’ve been looking for a dainty bookish necklace for quite some time now and
when I found the perfect one on The Literary Emporium I bought it right away. It’s a standard silver chain with a small detailed book pendant. The necklace arrived in the mail today and I must admit I’ve already fallen in love with it. It won’t be coming off any time soon that’s for sure.
I already have my eye on some of the other items including the rose gold Ampersand necklace so I’m sure that they’re going to make their way in to my life pretty soon! If you’re looking for book related accessories or jewellery then I’d make The Literary Emporium your first stop!
